20Cr2Ni4 alloy carburized steel

20Cr2Ni4 alloy carburized steel

20Cr2Ni4 steel is a high strength alloy carburized steel with good comprehensive mechanical properties. Its hardenability, strength and toughness are better than those of 12crni3 steel. The forging temperature is 1200 ℃, the initial forging temperature is 1150 ℃, the final forging temperature is more than 850 ℃, and slow cooling after forging. If the grains of 20Cr2Ni4 steel are coarse after forging, the coarse martensite structure will be obtained after quenching even after normalizing and subsequent carburizing.

65Mn carbon steel

65Mn carbon steel

After heat treatment and cold drawing hardening, the strength of 65Mn steel is relatively high, and it has certain flexibility and plasticity; Under the same surface state and complete quenching, the fatigue limit of 65Mn spring steel  is equivalent to that of multicolor alloy spring. But the hardenability is  poor. Manganese (Mn) improves the hardenability, so the strength, hardness, elasticity and hardenability are higher than that of 65# steel.

90MNV8 Cold Work Steel

90MNV8 steel material has high hardness and wear resistance. During quenching, the deformation is small and the hardenability is good. Due to a certain amount of vanadium in the steel, the grain size is refined and the superheat sensitivity of the steel is reduced. At the same time, the carbides are fine and evenly distributed.

51CrMoV4 spring steel

51CrMoV4 spring steel

51CrMoV4  steel is a kind of spring steel , as spring steel for quenching in oil. The strength and hardenability of 51CrMoV4 steel is strengthened not only by chromium and vanadium – as in the case of 51CrV4 / AISI 6150, but also by molybdenum. Molybdenum strengthens the solution during heat treatment, while chromium and vanadium form carbides that improve the hardness of the material during tempering.

40Cr engineering steel

40Cr engineering steel

40Cr steel is one of the most widely used steels in mechanical manufacturing industry. After quenching and tempering, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good low temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity. Except from quenching and tempering, the steel is also suitable for cyaniding and high frequency quenching. When the hardness is 174-229hb, the relative machinability is 60%.

The steel is easy to be processed and certain toughness, plasticity and wear resistance can be obtained after proper heat treatment. Normalizing can promote the microstructure refinement, close to the equilibrium state, and improve the cutting performance of the blank. The steel has the best comprehensive mechanical properties when tempered at 550 ~ 570 ℃. The hardenability of the steel is higher than that of 45 steel, which is suitable for high frequency quenching, flame quenching and other surface hardening treatment.

25Cr2MoV Alloy steel

25Cr2MoV Alloy steel

25Cr2MoV steel has good intergranular corrosion resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and cold working stamping performance. It has strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing acid (such as nitric acid), alkali solution and most organic and inorganic acids.

Due to its proper hardenability, the microstructure of the alloy is homogeneous sorbite, bainite or very fine pearlite after proper metal heat treatment. Therefore, 25Cr2MoV has higher tensile strength and yield ratio, higher toughness and fatigue strength, and lower toughness and brittle transition temperature.
Generally, the steel material can be used in the state of quenching and tempering, and can also be used after normalizing and high temperature tempering.
