51CrMoV4 Structural steel

51CrMoV4 Structural steel

51CrMoV4 steel Otai stock huge stockist, belongs to Structural Cr-Mo-V-steel. 51CrMoV4 Steel plate.

Otai accepts all kinds of large, medium and small orders, and can help customers with cutting, machining, and heat treatment to solve customers’ problems in one stop.

Otai’s advantage:
1. There are thousands of tons of steel inventory in our warehouse, especially for 4140/42CrMo plate, Otai is the largest stockist in South China.
2. Small order can be received. Compared with large steel mills, MOQ is lower, which is more conducive to foreign small and medium stockers.
3. We can finish all kinds of machining process like milling, polishing, turning and other processing.
4. With independent testing equipment, including spectrometers, UT flaw detection equipment, etc., compared to traders, we can fully guarantee product quality for customers.

3 major traps in steel procurement:
Using low-value materials as high-value materials; Otai will never be provide shoddy goods.

Offering low prices to attract customers regardless of customer performance requirements; Otai will only quote the most accurate price based on customer needs.

Delivery is not possible within the delivery period, making customers unable to keep up with the project; Otai promises to deliver within the fastest delivery time.

52CrMoV4 spring steel

52CrMoV4 spring steel

52CrMoV4 spring steel, its strength and hardenability is strengthened not only by chromium and vanadium – as in the case of 51CrV4 / AISI 6150, but also by molybdenum. Molybdenum strengthens the solution during heat treatment, while chromium and vanadium form carbides that improve the hardness of the material during tempering.

Equivalent Materials to  52CrMoV4 steel:

EN SAE/AISI AFNOR DIN UNI
52CrMoV4/1.7701  4150 51CDV4 1.7701 51CrMoV4

52CrMoV4 Physical properties:

  • Density: 7,79 g/cm3
  • Specific heat capacity: 470 J/kg-K
  • Melting temperature: 1420-1460 °C
  • Thermal conductivity: 44 W/m-K

65Mn carbon steel

65Mn carbon steel

After heat treatment and cold drawing hardening, the strength of 65Mn steel is relatively high, and it has certain flexibility and plasticity; Under the same surface state and complete quenching, the fatigue limit of 65Mn spring steel  is equivalent to that of multicolor alloy spring. But the hardenability is  poor. Manganese (Mn) improves the hardenability, so the strength, hardness, elasticity and hardenability are higher than that of 65# steel.

65Mn steel properties:

Tensile strength Rb (MPA): 735
Yield strength RS (MPA): 430
Elongation δ 10 (%): 14 ~ 21.5
Reduction of area ψ (%): ≥10
Hot rolling hardness: 240 ~ 270HB
Cold rolling soft hardness: 190 ~ 220HB
Cold rolled hard hardness: 300 ~ 340HB
Heat treatment hardness: 38 ~ 60HRC

51CrMoV4 spring steel

51CrMoV4 spring steel

51CrMoV4  steel is a kind of spring steel , as spring steel for quenching in oil. The strength and hardenability of 51CrMoV4 steel is strengthened not only by chromium and vanadium – as in the case of 51CrV4 / AISI 6150, but also by molybdenum. Molybdenum strengthens the solution during heat treatment, while chromium and vanadium form carbides that improve the hardness of the material during tempering.

51CrV4 Spring steel

51CrV4 Spring steel

51CrV4 (1.8159) Spring steel has good mechanical and technological properties and high hardenability. Vanadium in the steel can refine the grain size, reduce the overheat sensitivity, improve the strength and toughness. The steel grade has high fatigue strength and high yield ratio, but poor weldability and low cold deformation plasticity.

51CrV4 equivalent steel grades:

ASTM EN JIS GB
